HOUSTON we have lift off!

Finally the tickets page is up and running!

Please be sure to carefully answer all the required questions. If you do not intend to attend a show whichever one please specify 0 for the number of tickets you need.

That is the most crucial piece to the success of the website pre -orders!

The tickets are now on sale to the general public until Friday midnight May 4th.

After this, the only way to purchase tickets will be with our box office hours the week of the show (TBA) and/or one hour prior to showtimes.

Thank you for your patience and your excitement we look forward to filling the auditorium for all our shows!

Sincerely, Kristen Chapman

IMAGES OF THE WEEK!

Lots of work done this week, the 8th graders were a big help too!  Thank you everyone!

Time for the HIGH SCHOOL STAGE

Good Morning Everyone -

I wanted to take a moment to update you on our progress from this past week, while we still have much to accomplish we are well on our way thanks in large part to those folks that gave of their time this past week.  Thank you everyone!

There is still much to volunteer for, don't lose heart, if vacation during the day wasn't the right timing, you can still help and I will be in touch in the coming weeks leading to and through production, after all it takes a village! :)

Leslie has requested certain groups for some costuming situations this week below her specific timing and requests, if your child is in the group requested to stay after and they simply cannot stay, please let me know via email or Leslie know so that she can work around that.  We just want to be sure everyone has a costume in the coming days and don't want folks missed.  Thanks for your help with this.

---------------------------------------------
If I could ask these groups to stay after until 5:45 this would really help.

Tuesday- Salesmen, Band members
Wednesday-Teen dance corps, boys and girls groups (kids)
Thursday-PickaLittle Ladies
Friday looks like practice is until 6 anyway. I will try to get river city citizens

----------------------------------------------
Lastly, I need volunteer parent(s) daily 245 - 5:ooPM to sit in the auditorium and make sure the kids are staying put and not roaming the halls of the high school, with my attention on the stage and Leslie coming in and getting to work on costuming and fittings, it is important to have another set of eyes available.  If you are willing or able please email me today.

THERE IS NO REHEARSAL TODAY MONDAY the 23rd, WELCOME BACK!

We begin at the high school TOMORROW TUESDAY the 24th.

Thank you, Kristen

HAPPY MONDAY!

Checking my list this morning I want to be sure to touch base with all of you as we approach April Break.

Good Morning -

There are few things that have been handed out in the past few weeks that I want to be sure you have seen, the parent blurb was one those things, this was suggested on the ticket form (you could pay the $5.00 with ticket moneys) or you could hand in the paper and the $5.00 to me to be included in the program. Basically it means that you are sending words of encouragement and praise that will be seen by all in the program and your contribution will help defray printing costs.

Also, there are posters that will be handed out by week's end to distribute in the community. We would love your help in the placement of these posters all over town.

Tshirt orders have been submitted and I did get a few extra in case you mistakenly missed the deadline.

Shoes are the next order of business, every child will need a dance shoe.

The cast list was designed for you to better understand which shoe your son/daughter will need.

If your son is a salesman, they will need a dress shoe, preferably lace up in black (we do have dress shoes to paw through in the costume barn but not sure of the sizing for some of the smaller feet in the cast).

If your daughter is a Pick a little lady, or a member of the teen dance corps, Mrs. Paroo, Marian, or Eulalie they need this shoe:

In tan, please.

If your daughter is a member of the wan tan ye girls (they'll go barefoot that one scene) and or a member of the children's dance corps, Amaryllis or Gracie Shinn it would be great if they could get black ballet flats.

***PLEASE SEE EMAIL FOR LINKS***

If you have specific questions or concerns about shoes please contact me via email.

The deadline for the parent blurb is this Friday. I cannot add anything after break as the program is going to print.

Tomorrow we will be taking head shots for the program. We decided to wear black tops (solid) and jean bottoms, please make sure your son/daughter has these things for the rehearsal. Originally we were going to do the photos on Wednesday but as it turns out people are gone for the photos beginning Wednesday.

Thank you for your cooperation, the blogs and emails will pick up as we get closer; it takes a village!

With Gratitude, Kristen
