Well, here we are!
A beautiful set greeted the kids yesterday, and they are all working so hard to meet the BIG demands of a full-length musical.
I (we) have every faith they will get there.
There are several updates to this page. Please review the tabs for the latest information. The costumes page has specific date requests. There is an update to the t-shirt tab; those are in and will be finished for distribution tomorrow, 4/23. Additionally, there is a new TICKET-linked page. Get your tickets before it's too late.
Please also help spread the word for ticket sales. The kids have worked too hard not to play to a full house. There have been moments that are great already, and I know from experience that it will only get better as we get closer to the show! You won't want to miss it!
I requested on the Classroom page that those students who can stay until 5:30 PM tomorrow, 4/23, and until 6 PM on Thursday, 4/24, would be most appreciated. I understand if the timing doesn't work for your family, since the schedule was released before break with a 5 PM dismissal. At this point, however, we are recognizing that our spotty month of March requires a little more time, and every moment counts. Thank you in advance.
Thank you also to Ava Beane, Savannah Bradshaw, and Jen Beane for coming to help make candygrams over break at the high school, and to the girls for contributing some time to painting the set too over break. Thanks to my son for his vacation time spent helping to make the set structure a reality with Brycen. We made a fast team and were able to steal away even for a couple of days during the break. Everyone's assistance and donations for candygrams are all so appreciated! IT IS ALL APPRECIATED!
Many thanks! Here's to the next couple of weeks, and fingers crossed for patience and grace for one another as we navigate, arguably, the most fun but also the most stressful part of the musical season.
Very Sincerely, Kristen Chapman
