Let the REAL fun begin!

Well, here we are, the last official days of rehearsal!

Let me start by addressing the unintended omission from our helper list from last Saturday. That thanks should have also included Lisa Chartier, Quinn's mom. Apologies! Thanks again to everyone who made the transition from HMMS to the HHS Auditorium a success!

Now, the brass tacks! We have accomplished much in the week of break. We have a set, we have details to iron out, but we have a set that will be most helpful as we advance.

Our rehearsals are M-F 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the high school auditorium. For parents, this means you need to pick them up in front of the high school's main entrance at this point. Students in the show, cast, and CREW will need to check in at my room (room 104, the chorus room at the middle school) before we'll walk over to the high school together as a large group.

Everyone is expected at rehearsal from this point on unless we have spoken about conflicts. Of course, this doesn't include illness (which we hope to avoid), but if your child is out sick, they are not required to be present at the rehearsal. The sooner I am made aware of their absence; we'll be all the better for it so that I can plan accordingly. These rehearsals are when it gets harder to reteach placements; we thank you in advance for understanding and making every effort for your child to be present for these rehearsals.

TECH CREW - you're up, you're on. However, please know that our return from break and the new space for the cast means there is a lot of watching and taking it all in before the tech crew begins to roll up their sleeves. When we need you, though, we need you there, so please understand that it's a hurry -up-and-wait-scenario, but also please know that we value you, and we are so grateful for your willingness to lend a hand behind the scenes. The techies are the magic-makers! We are looking forward to adding you to our daily rehearsals.

CAST - you need shoes for the shows! Gentlemen roles, ensemble and the dance corps need these shoes please: Black Jazz flat for Male roles and Dance corps and the female named roles women's character shoes (named woman parts). Please order these ASAP as it is helpful to have them for practice before the show dates. If cost is an issue, please see Mrs. Rench tomorrow (Monday, April 18, 2022, and no later than Wednesday, April 20, 2022, so that we can take care of shoes for your child). See Ms. Chapman or email with questions specific to your child's shoe needs.

TICKETS - Tickets are in the works. I hope to open ticket sales ASAP this week for a couple of days for just the staff and cast and crew and then open to the public. Hoping to have that worked out with our online venue sooner than later, stay tuned!

SCHEDULE - Lastly, the next week and a half through Thursday, April 28, 2022, will be 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the high school. Please plan accordingly, and plan to collect your child from the front of the HIGH SCHOOL from this point on. Schedules will change, and we ask for a lot of commitment from your children in the coming weeks. Bear with us. It will be worth it! We promise! We are excited and committed to making an incredible show with and for your kids! Thank you a thousand times for everything up to now, everything over this week, and in the coming weeks!

Hang on tight. We got this!
